Went on 9/14/23 and the road to enter the area was closed. We were able to park the car outside the gate and hike 20 min to the lighthouse and the beach. Note, the first initial waters (dirty, red, filled with seaweed & smelly) you see is not Playa Sucia, now known as La Playuelita. Playa Sucia was a beautiful, calm beach.
